'Ancria, officially the Kingdom of the Ancrians (Ancrian Kuná Ankárisana, Arvonnic: Kûnja Angâiristár) is a state situated on the southern coasts of western Antraea upon the Mouth of Haverun, bordered by Belgroden and Fordmark to the north, Kelles, Pantella, and Ovrio to the east, and Teudormark and Meerenhald to the west. Its capital and largest city is Risdun, situated in Ancria's northern regions. Ancria comprises five Lordships: Anganar, Huvar (where Risdun is situated), Piroha, Ergen and Vene.
A great power and holding one of the Three Great Seats of the Holy Covenant of Forisciandom, Ancria is the heart of the greater Ancrian Empire, with protectorates in the Tacanias and port holdings in the Parethian Islands and parts of Mespassia. The ruling King since 2102, Kerinus IV, is not yet of age, the Small Council ruling in his stead. It is among the most-militarized polities in the world, amongst Kontinovad and Victoriala.

Government and politics
- Main article: Government of Ancria
Theocratic monarchy. Tevas save the fucking king.
[Ancria is a cameral regnancy, a hereditary regnant serving as the head of state. The regnant, since ??? 2119 Michael XV, has the authority to grant assent to or veto legislation passed by the Mute; if the ruling regnant is not yet of age, as is the case with the incumbent, the Cyngesmute may exercise this power on their behalf. The Naemman or chancellor, elected by and from the Folkesmute, acts as a head of government, presiding over sessions of the Most Holy Deliberate Council of the English Throne, the deliberature of Ancria, and appointing its members.
The legislature of Ancria is the bicameral Mute. The Jarlesmute, its upper chamber, consists of ? hereditary members known as Jarls. The Folkesmute, its lower chamber, consists of ? ?s, each of whom are elected from a "riding". A nonpartisan Lawspeaker, elected by the membership of the Folkesmute, presides over the Folkesmute's sessions. [Political parties.]
Local governance
Ancria is divided into five Princedoms, which are in turn divided into shires, of which there are ???.
[... Despite the absence of modern democracy at the national level, restrictions on voting in English local elections are few in number; voting age for local elections is 14 ...]
[owing much to traditional pre-ottonian English culture, the localities sport a more repopular structure, a peculiar development within the commonly centralized southwest.]
